" If there Be Sorrow"

Sorrow, a feeling that each and every one of us encounters. Me personally, sorrow gave me a punch here and there and sorrow has a hold on me as of now. Well let it be,  my good friend Mari Even quotes in her poem If there Be Sorrow . For Something short in words this poem hits a level of deepness. Even wrote this poem so well, the tone of this poem had me in amazement way after the poem was done. Another concept of this poem are the feelings that try to consume me in the moment. Mari vocabulary was so powerful, with one word, it took my breath away.
A tone of any story, poem, song... will leave a person felling some type of way about it. Sad, happy, angry, a tone can do all that to one person. "If there Be Sorrow" has a tone that released the sadness in me. Just thinking about things in my life I thought was six feet under.
Feelings, one of my worst enemies. This poem welcomed numerous of feelings. Sad feeling, then skip to a lost feeling, then skip to feeling hurt. See why it;s my enemy?  Not even if I had one of me to every feeling can cope with it.
Vocabulary, the open door to all poem, story, songs, and more. Mari choice of words like "undone, undreamed, unrealized", open me up to a world of sorrow. Without vocabulary there's nothing, no tone, no feeling so really this is the heart that pumps life into it.
Sorrow, a feeling that everyone comes face to face with. "if there Be Sorrow" by Mari Even, a poem that has deep meaning for something short in words. With the tone, feeling, and vocabulary. just sit and take it all in. Next time just think and wonder why sorrow finds a way back.
