Con High..... The real Deal?????

First day of high school, woke up thinking how high school’s going to be. Walk through the door and in an instant second your whole mind set is changed.
Every year, 8th grade students in Philadelphia school district, get prep to enter high school. To High Schools this is their time to show off how good of a school they are, but are the schools telling lies to get new students or are they the real deal?
September 2006 Constitution High School opens their doors and since then hundreds of applicants are pouring in. After enrolling into the school some are the students are enjoying it some just want to get OUT!!!!!! So what’s the real deal with Con High is it all talk or is it the real deal?
Majority of the students if Con High says this school is fake. Coming to this school, some had intentions on coming to an up right and low lose school. “I came here wanting to learn more about law, but I feel as though we haven’t even gotten close to that.” Person wish to stay unknown.
Some are satisfied with the school and how it’s going. They like the classes, the order of things, and the teachers. The students that are fine with the school think it’s how you make it and I’m making the best out of it.

" If there Be Sorrow"

Sorrow, a feeling that each and every one of us encounters. Me personally, sorrow gave me a punch here and there and sorrow has a hold on me as of now. Well let it be,  my good friend Mari Even quotes in her poem If there Be Sorrow . For Something short in words this poem hits a level of deepness. Even wrote this poem so well, the tone of this poem had me in amazement way after the poem was done. Another concept of this poem are the feelings that try to consume me in the moment. Mari vocabulary was so powerful, with one word, it took my breath away.
A tone of any story, poem, song... will leave a person felling some type of way about it. Sad, happy, angry, a tone can do all that to one person. "If there Be Sorrow" has a tone that released the sadness in me. Just thinking about things in my life I thought was six feet under.
Feelings, one of my worst enemies. This poem welcomed numerous of feelings. Sad feeling, then skip to a lost feeling, then skip to feeling hurt. See why it;s my enemy?  Not even if I had one of me to every feeling can cope with it.
Vocabulary, the open door to all poem, story, songs, and more. Mari choice of words like "undone, undreamed, unrealized", open me up to a world of sorrow. Without vocabulary there's nothing, no tone, no feeling so really this is the heart that pumps life into it.
Sorrow, a feeling that everyone comes face to face with. "if there Be Sorrow" by Mari Even, a poem that has deep meaning for something short in words. With the tone, feeling, and vocabulary. just sit and take it all in. Next time just think and wonder why sorrow finds a way back.

Thesis Statement and Introduction

From the farmlands of Lancaster Pennsylvania, Milton Hershey had little schooling before he drop out to become an apprentice. At the age of 14 he apprenticed for Joseph Royer, a confectioner that gave Mr. Hershey his first taste at candy making. Milton, at the age of 18 started his first candy business in Philadelpiha, then when that failed within six years he went on to Denver, there he learned how to make caramel with fresh milk, Mr. Hershey left Denver and ended up in New York. Now 28, Milton Hershey went back to Lancaster where he finely became successful.

Topic Selection Post for NHD

For this years NHD project, I choose Milton S. Hershey because, this man not only made the most famous chocolate products in the world , but he also has a part in Pennsylvania named after him.
Without his efforts, us today will not have the famous Hershey Bar, Hershey Kisses, Reese's Cups, and Kit-Kat to name a few out of many. We won't have the entertainment of going to Hershey Park in Hershey, PA. Not only for his candy and entertainment, he has a school named after him and  hospital.
